Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a non-ionic cellulose ether made from cellulose, a natural polymer material, through a series of chemical processing. They are an odorless, tasteless and non-toxic white or slightly yellow powder that swells into a clear or slightly cloudy colloidal solution in cold water. It has the characteristics of thickening, adhesion, dispersion, emulsification, film formation, suspension, adsorption, gelation, surface activity, retention of moisture and protection of colloids. Products are widely used in building materials, coatings industry, synthetic resin, ceramics industry, medicine, food, textile, agriculture, daily chemical industry and other industries.
Product application range:
External wall insulation system (EIFS)
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose without surface treatment needs to be added to hot water to form a slurry, and then cold water is slowly added.
Interface agent for interior and exterior wall
Slowly add cellulose to the stirring water and keep stirring until the viscosity is formed. If you stop stirring early, it will sink to the bottom or agglomerate.
